About Us

Sean is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice.  He worked several years in law enforcement before working for the State of Pennsylvania.  Sean worked for PennDOT in the Safety Division for over thirteen years as an Examiner, Auditor, Supervisor and Manager.  He is licensed for everything from Class "A" tractor trailers to motorcycles.  His experience and skills provide safe, reliable instruction for student drivers.   As the owner of a driving school, he has trained PA Permit holders who have never been behind the wheel to experienced drivers who are wary of the PennDOT road test.

Sean has successfully completed all federal/state background checks and child abuse clearances required by the State of Pennsylvania as well as holding the insurance necessary to have received his license with the PA Department of Education as a certified instructor.

Krista, Sean’s wife, has been an instructor with Four Star Driving School since December 2014.  Since that time, she has helped thousands of students learn to be safe and defensive driver. She also helped her students to successfully pass their Pennsylvania driver's exam.  

She is a certified driving instructor approved by the PA Department of Education.  

Krista has successfully completed all state/federal background checks and child abuse clearances required for providing behind-the-wheel driver training in Pennsylvania.

 Joe is an on-road Examiner and Instructor. 

He has been employed with us since 2019.

Joe has successfully passed the required PennDOT/PA Department of Education Examiner/Instructor training and is approved to conduct exams and perform behind-the-wheel driver training.

Joe has taught thousands of students to become safe, defensive and confident drivers.

Joe has also completed all State/Federal mandated background checks and child abuse clearances required by Four Star Driving School, PA Department of Education & PennDOT.

Gail is one of our on-road Examiners. 

She has been with us since 2019.

Gail has successfully passed the required PennDOT Examiner training and is approved to conduct exams. 

Gail has also completed all State/Federal  background checks and clearances required to give tests at our facility located at 

2085 Quaker Pointe Drive, Quakertown, PA.

Desiree is an on-road Examiner.

She has been with us since 2020.

Desiree has been in the transportation industry since 1984.  Specifically, she has been a Pennridge school bus driver since 2007.

All of Desiree's Federal/State background checks and child abuse clearances required

 by law are clear.

She has successfully passed the required PennDOT training and is approved to preform driver's exams our testing center located at 

2085 Quaker Pointe Drive, 

Quakertown, PA

Jaclyn has been with Four Star Driving School since May 2024.  She is the administrative assistant and a driving instructor.

Jaclyn has her certification for a driving instructor and is approved by the 

PA Department of Education.  

She has successfully completed all state/federal background checks and child abuse clearances required for providing behind-the-wheel driver training in Pennsylvania.  

Jodi is an on-road Instructor, Examiner and Administrative Assistant.  She has been employed with us since June of 2022.  Jodi is a native of Quakertown.

Jodi has successfully passed the required PennDOT/PA Department of Education Examiner/Instructor training and is approved to conduct exams and perform behind-the-wheel driver training.

She has also completed all State/Federal mandated background checks and child abuse clearances required by Four Star Driving School, PA Department of Education & PennDOT.

Steve is an on-road Examiner and Instructor.

He has been employed with us since 2023 and has been an educator since 2016.

Steve is a graduate of

Iona College in New Rochelle, NY and has his master of Arts in Secondary Education, English.

Steve has his certification as a driving instructor and is approved by the PA Department of Education.

Steve has completed all PA & Federal criminal background checks, has a clean PA driving record and has his child abuse history clearance through

the Department of human services; 

PA Child Welfare department.

 Rob has been employed with us 

since 2023 and has his certification as a driving instructor.  He is approved by the 

PA Department of Education.

Rob graduated from North Georgia College & State University with a  Bachelor of Science degree.  In addition, Rob completed training at the Georgia Corrections Academy for probation officer training & the National Training Academy for federal law enforcement training.  He also served in the US Army Reserve for 6 years.

Rob has completed all PA & Federal criminal background checks, has a clean PA driving record and has a child abuse history clearance through the Department of Human Services; PA Child Welfare department.

Tim is a certified behind-the-wheel driving  Instructor and an on-road Examiner.  Tim has been employed by us since 2022.  He has been a professional driver since 2011 and is also a member of the Quakertown Borough.  In addition to his class C license, Tim has a CDL license too.

Tim completed all PA & Federal criminal background checks, clean PA driving record and has a child abuse history clearance through the Department of Human Services; 

PA Child Welfare department.

Tim is married and a father to their five children.

Russ has been employed with Four Star since May 2025.  He has a PA Department of Education certification as a driving instructor for behind-the-wheel instruction.

Russ graduated from Cabrini University with a Masters in Education.  He has worked in the Methacton School District since 2006; serving as an elementary classroom teacher for many years before transitioning to his current role as a math specialist at the same district.

Russ has completed all PA & Federal criminal background checks, has a clean driving record and has passed the PA Department of Human Resources Child Abuse History clearance.

Russ is married.  

He and his wife have two children.
